I'm DJ DoughBoy, owner and lead DJ of Dynamic Sounds & Entertainment, and for me, DJing has never been about simply pressing play. Music has the ability to create a feeling, bring people together, take you back to a memory, and turn an ordinary night into something you'll talk about for years.

​

With over a decade of experience, I've had the opportunity to provide the soundtrack for weddings, private parties, corporate events, school celebrations, community events, roller-skating events, and more. Every crowd is different, and that's exactly what I love about what I do.

​

I don't believe in showing up with the same playlist for every event. I believe in reading the room.

Knowing when to turn the energy up. Knowing when to slow things down. Knowing when to play that one song that gets three generations on the dance floor at the same time. Those are the moments I work for.

My music knowledge crosses generations and genres, allowing me to move between R&B, Hip-Hop, Old School, Top 40, Pop, Funk, Soul, Motown, Throwbacks, Line Dances, and today's hits while keeping the energy natural and the dance floor moving.

I created Dynamic Sounds & Entertainment because I wanted to offer more than DJ services.

Weddings Are Personal

Weddings hold a special place in what I do because no two love stories are the same—and I don't think two wedding receptions should be either.

​

Your wedding playlist shouldn't feel like someone else's wedding playlist.

​

I want to know the songs you love, the songs your family loves, the song that's going to make your best friend run to the dance floor, and even the songs you absolutely do not want played.

​

From the ceremony and cocktail hour to introductions, first dances, special moments, and the reception, my job is to help everything flow while making sure you can actually enjoy your wedding.

When it's finally time to open that dance floor, that's where the experience really begins.

It's Bigger Than Music

Some of my favorite events aren't remembered because of one particular song. They're remembered because of what happened when that song came on.

It's seeing grandparents dancing with grandchildren.

​

It's watching two families become one.

​

It's seeing someone hear a song they haven't heard in years and immediately light up.

​

It's a packed dance floor where nobody cares who's watching.

​

It's watching people from different backgrounds and generations connect through music.

That's why I DJ.
